Completely but sensitively refurbished, set up ready to play, with new Wittner tail piece (string adjusters on all 4 strings) and new strings. Comes with chin rest and a new, hard, waterproof case and useable (non-descript) bow. Two piece maple back, fine grain spruce belly, hand made pegs. Dark chestnut brown varnish. Wm Henley describes Havelar violins as "Extraordinary fine value. Stradivarian model of nicely figured wood. Glossy brown varnish effectively shaded."
